Website and a move!

Hey folks!

To the three people who actually look at this thing, i'm just letting you know that further updates probably (well, definitely) won't be happening here.  I finally got my website back up and running, and it has an integrated blog in there.  So for the sake of streamlining everything, any future stuff will be posted over there, including Worklist updates.

VICTORY!

HAH!  I finally remembered my stupid password to open up this blog!

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates and such.  I got the new Mac, and when i switched over, i realized that, like a dumbass, i didn't have my passwords saved :P  And to top it off, i can't even update my site anymore, because the software that i used is incompatible.  Of course.

Anyhoo, it's been an exceedingly busy couple of months, what with card sets, and especially the comic Bait taking up the majority of my time.  I'll post what work i can, but, if you're curious, you can always pop on over to my facebook art page The Art of Meghan Hetrick.  There are a ton of in progress pics and updates on it.

Okay, back to work for me.  I'm going to update the worklist (not too much though, i'm afraid), and get back to this stack of stuff that's glaring at me.

Computer go BOOM!

Hey folks!

Well, it finally happened.  My computer, which has been on life support for the better part of the year, has now been deemed terminal.  It's working for basic things, like internet and such, but as soon as i try working in photoshop, or any other program that REALLY draws on the system, the whole thing goes slightly demented.  So, basically, i need a new computer ASAP, so i can finish some upcoming projects by the end of next month... meaning i need a new computer by the end of this o.O

That being said, i'm doing a fundraiser of sorts.  I'm selling off a bunch of my art, whether it be preliminary sketches, finished pieces, even prints.  I'm also doing something i'm calling "Project Sexy" which is essentially fan service art of some of the sexiest characters in comics, both male and female (primarily the girlies though).  Seeing as i'm booked through the beginning of March with contracted work and commissions, this is pretty much the only way to get art from me at the moment

I'm trying to get back into the habit of updating this thing.  Sorry guys and gals!

Here are the cards i did for Cryptozoic's DC New 52 set.  First time ever drawing most of these characters, and DEFINITELY the first time drawing these outfits.  These are oversized redemption cards, so 4x6 instead of the usual 2.5x3.5.

Commissions update!

Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to let you know that i bowed out of a fairly substantial set, so i can focus on catching up with outstanding commissions and other projects.  I just need to finish up the set i'm on working on now, and then it'll be a straight month or so of catch up.

Hey guys and gals!
I just wanted to let everyone who's waiting on a commission for me know that i didn't forget about ya'll.  I'm im the middle of Deadlines from Hell at the moment, but i should have a short break soon, so i'm hoping i can get some commission work out in that time.  That being said, i am NOT taking other commissions at the moment for obvious reasons.
