I don't know how i did it, but i apparently won Dark Horse Comic's Conan art contest. My piece will be published in an upcoming issue of Conan (i believe they said issue 3). Still surprised over it, as some of the other entries were jaw-droppingly amazing.
It is no wonder that this won! Not only is it amazing, but it captures that feel and color scheme of the Conan comics look so well. Nice work! Tim Truman, a long-time writer and artist for several of the Conan comic series was one of my teachers in college, and part of the reason I decided to go there. I've always loved the look of the Conan comics, going back to the the old paintings. One of these days I'd love to do some Conan illustrations.
